Return and Refund Policy

Overview

At Royal Sofa, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy, our return and refund policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • If the original packaging is unavailable, please ensure the item is securely wrapped in bubble wrap or suitable protective material to prevent damage during transit. If you refuse the delivery on the day of delivery, the return is free of charge. For returns requested after the delivery day, a collection fee of 15% of the product’s value will be applied.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

In line with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item. If you change your mind during this period, please contact us to arrange a return.

Collection Service for Large Items

For large items like sofas, we offer a convenient collection service. If you refuse delivery on the day of delivery, the return is free of charge. If the collection is requested after the delivery day, a collection fee of 15% of the product’s value will apply. The item remains your responsibility until it is collected by our team.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your sofa upon delivery. If you notice any visible damage or defects:

  1. Inform the delivery team immediately.
  2. Contact us within 48 hours so we can arrange a solution (repair, replacement, or refund).

Conditions for Assembled Items

We understand that sometimes items are assembled before a decision to return is made. We can still accept returns for assembled items, but a deduction may apply to cover the cost of repackaging or dismantling.

Returning Defective or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund depending on the situation. In such cases, we will cover all return and delivery costs.

Customer Responsibilities for Returns

To ensure a smooth return process:

  • Package the item securely to avoid damage during transit.
  • Items damaged due to improper packaging may be subject to a partial refund.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

Refund of Delivery Charges

  • Change of Mind Returns: Delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Faulty or Damaged Items: We will refund the original delivery cost.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software products.
  • Health and personal care items.
  • Items that are intimate or sanitary in nature.

Exchanges
